MEDIUM WAVE QSL FROM FISHERY RADIO STATION FROM TAIWAN

A big surprise was when I got in my mailbox this week a QSL from Fishery Radio Station from Taiwan. I received this station in February 2016 on the medium wave frequency 1143 kHz with my 385 metres long Beverage antenna. A small recording of what I heard can be heard here: Fishery Radio Station TWN 1143 kHz.mp3. QSL FROM LOW POWER STATION RADIO BABYLONA FROM THE NETHERLANDS

The medium wave band in The Netherlands is now open for new low power stations, operating with a power of 1-100 Watt. Radio Babylona is one of first of this stations and broadcast from the village Musselkanaal on 747 kHz with a power of 100 Watt PEP. This is my first QSL of such radio station. PCJ RADIO INT’L WITH RADIO NETHERLANDS ARCHIVES

In July PCJ Radio International presented a special two hour program to Europe called from the Radio Netherlands Archives. A short recording in the beginning of the program can be found here: PCJ Radio 7780 kHz.mp3.This was the first of a number of specials. Listeners who write in will also get a special e-QSL. This was a broadcast on 7780 kHz from the TX in Okeechobee in Florida, USA. The address for reception reports to PCJ Radio is: pcjqsl(at)pcjmedia.com.

QSL FROM RADIO ORION 2000, A GERMAN FREE RADIO ON SHORT WAVE

Radio Orion 2000 is a free radio station from Germany. I heard them on 7280 kHz kHz. He was also spotted on several frequency’s in the 48 m-band or between 6900 and 6950 kHz with beautiful swinging oldies music and original jingles. QSL FROM SUMMERMEETING RADIO 2016

Likewise there was this year a Free Radio Summer Meeting in the Netherlands. The organization was in the hands of Short wave Combination Holland and took place in the North-East of Netherlands.There was also the traditional Summer meeting Radio who sent that weekend on 6239 kHz.
