A NEW FREE RADIO STATION FROM ITALY: RADIO ENTERPRISE

Italian station Radio Enterprise broadcast from north Italy. They use 60 watt carrier and rotable dipole. The reception was fair: Enterprise Radio 6950 kHz.mp3. The QSL address is enterpriseradio@hotmail.com.

RADIO MI AMIGO, A NEW STATION ON SHORT WAVE

The Spanish based German Radio Mi Amigo tested on September 14 with an excellent signal on 6005kHz with programmes in English, German & Dutch. A recording of my observation from this very first test broadcast is on: Radio Mi Amigo 6005 kHz.mp3. It is intended to provide regular broadcasts every Sunday from November on 6005 and 7310 kHz. QSL FROM SPECIAL EVENT STATION PD538RNI

HAM station PD538RNI reminded the close down of the offshore stations Radio Veronica and Radio Northsea on August 31, 1974. PD538RNI was active on HF between August 28 and September 20, 2014. I heard them on 28 August on 7061 kHz LSB and made this recording: PD538RNI 7067 kHz.mp3.

QSL FROM “RADIO MARTI” SPECIAL DIGITAL TEST TRANSMISSION

QSL FROM ITALIAN STATION EUROPA RADIO JAZZ

On 22 August 2014 Europa Radio Jazz from Italy had a test broadcast on 1386 kHz. The transmitter location was north Italy and had a power output of 1Kw. Reception in our area was poor: Europa Radio Jazz 1386 kHz.mp3. Below the QSL card I have received of this broadcast. The frequency 1368 kHz on the QSL must be 1386 kHz.

WMR – WEEKEND MUSIC RADIO BACK ON SHORTWAVE

QSL FROM SPECIAL EVENT STATION PA40VRON

PA40VRON was late August on the air to mark Radio Veronica close down 40 years ago. Radio Veronica was an offshore radio station that began broadcasting in 1960 on medium wave from a radio ship anchored off the Dutch coastline in international waters for over fourteen years.

QSL FROM “RADIO FREE ASIA” SPECIAL RADIOGRAM TEST PROGAM

The Radio Free Asia Cantonaise Service had between 9 september and 15 september digital text broadcasts on different frequencys, all via Tinian, Northern Mariana Islands. From this broadcasts was a special QSL issued. The QSL address from Radio Free Asia is qsl@rfa.org.
